After Christmas, my partner and I will be embarking on our first direct mail campaigns to a select group of photo editors and art buyers, which should be an adventure in and of itself. I’ve got some beautiful portraits that I’ve been itching to share when I find a few moments to edit personal work. I’m looking forward to encountering the unexpected and doing some much-needed visual exploration in the coming weeks – Cheers!

Yeah, me neither.

In light of the scorching heat today, I thought I’d seek refreshment in the form of an Iceland photo from earlier this year. We were en route to the Nesjavellir geothermal plant and this little red church on the hill was so compelling I had to jump out of the car and take a few photos. If I recall correctly, it was about -7 degrees Celsius… and windy.

Iceland is a place of raw and desolate beauty, with a constantly changing landscape and fiercely independent people.
