Last week several Magnum photographers came to my hometown of Rochester, New York for a collaborative “House of Pictures” project. They are doing several lectures at the Rochester Institute of Technology, my alma mater. Bummed to be missing it!

After weeks of photo editing, retouching, keywording and generally just slaving, my website is live!! Check it out my photography website here. I welcome any critique or suggestions any of you may have, as it always helps to have more than one pair of eyes and ideas, and I make plenty of mistakes. I have several works in progress including Burlington food culture and BTV 50, a new portrait project.
BTV 50 is a portrait project of entrepreneurs, artists, musicians and more who are making Burlington a great place to live. You don’t have to be big and important, you just have to be contributing something to the community. Eugene Hutz of Gogol Bordello made an impromptu appearance in City Hall Park last night after a day full of rumors, denial and speculation across Twitter and Facebook. He showed up in support of Occupy Burlington and rocked out Start Wearing Purple and a few other songs from atop the fountain. Good times.
