Happy New Year everyone!!
Looking back, I can honestly say 2012 was an incredible year. After wrapping up a crazy busy fall with tons of assignments, weddings and commercial work, my partner Judd and I took off for a whirlwind trip through Australia and New Zealand (images to come!), getting back just in time for the holidays. We rang in the new year with Phish at Madison Square Garden and are finally back in Burlington – and ready to tackle 2013!
I wanted to share a portrait I made in the fall of the lovely Kat Wright (of Kat Wright and the Indomitable Soul Band) for my BTV50 project. I actually know Kat from my hometown of Rochester and randomly ran into her at Radio Bean a few years back. She’s been making headlines with her band, where she leads on vocals – they opened for Rubblebucket during a NYE run at Higher Ground and have been putting on some amazing shows in the area.
